China Securities Regulatory Commission and Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong held the 17th Cross-boundary Enforcement Cooperation Working Meeting.

According to the regular meeting mechanism established by the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission for the heads of enforcement departments, the two regulatory authorities recently held the 17th meeting on cross-border enforcement cooperation. The heads of enforcement departments from both sides attended the meeting. During the meeting, both sides reported on the recent enforcement work in the two capital markets, trends in illegal activities, and case handling situations. They also reviewed the effectiveness of cross-border enforcement cooperation, communicated the progress of major cases of mutual concern, discussed topics such as combating new types of cross-border illegal activities, enhancing information sharing, and further cooperation within the existing framework to strengthen cross-border enforcement collaboration and effectively improve regulatory enforcement. In the next step, the China Securities Regulatory Commission will continue to implement the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, the National Financial System Work Conference, and the new "Nine Articles" deployment, in accordance with the requirements of risk prevention, strong regulation, and promoting high-quality development, to continuously improve the cross-border enforcement cooperation mechanism with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and strictly crack down on all types of cross-border illegal activities in accordance with the law, jointly safeguarding the stable and healthy development of the two capital markets.
