Huasheng Lithium Battery announced that the company originally planned to invest 1.6 billion yuan in two phases to build a project with an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of ethylene carbonate through its subsidiary Xianghe New Energy. Now, after internal decision-making, the company has decided to cancel the two-phase construction plan and instead invest the full 1.6 billion yuan in one go. Other aspects such as the investment entity and construction site remain unchanged. The project is still in the stage of civil construction and does not yet have the conditions for production. This adjustment aligns with the company's strategic goals, aimed at expanding production capacity, but it also brings risks such as increased financial costs, construction challenges, market competition, and approval procedures.
