Several reservoirs in Beijing have increased their pre-discharge flow.

Journalists learned from the Miyun Reservoir Management Office in Beijing that starting from 9:00 on July 9th, the overall outflow of Miyun Reservoir has increased from 135 cubic meters per second to 205 cubic meters per second, through pre-release to ensure sufficient storage space for intercepting and storing rainstorm floodwaters in the reservoir. Among them, the outflow of the Chaohe Water Diversion Tunnel has been increased from 80 cubic meters per second to 150 cubic meters per second, setting a record for the highest outflow in the history of the Chaohe Water Diversion Tunnel since its establishment.
