Venezuela demands that the UK return the frozen gold for post-earthquake reconstruction.

On July 8th local time, Venezuela's acting president, Rodriguez, stated that he will be writing a letter to the King of England, requesting the return of approximately 31 tons of gold that is currently frozen in the Bank of England, to be used for post-earthquake recovery and reconstruction.
