State Energy Administration: Strengthen the construction, renovation, and intelligent upgrade of distribution networks to enhance the comprehensive carrying capacity of distribution networks for new types of entities such as distributed new energy.

The State Energy Administration issued the "Energy Sector Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction Action Plan". It proposes to expand the new energy consumption space, vigorously develop new energy storage, explore long-term energy storage applications, increase the scale of inter-provincial new energy mutual aid transactions, and continuously increase the proportion of new energy generation. Strengthen the construction and transformation of distribution networks and upgrade intelligence, enhance the comprehensive carrying capacity of distribution networks for distributed new energy and other new entities. Actively develop new energy consumption formats such as green electricity direct connection, smart micro-grids, source-grid-load-storage integration, and new energy access incremental distribution networks, expand the space for green electricity application.
