On January 8, 2026, the prospectus submitted to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by LXJ International Holdings Limited expired yesterday. This company, known as the "number one in Chinese fast food," has failed to enter the capital market for the fifth time in five years. The preparation for the listing of Old Town Chicken began in 2021. In 2022, the company first submitted a prospectus to the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, but later attracted attention due to issues such as the historical problems of the controlling shareholder, food safety, and social security contributions. In August 2023, the company voluntarily withdrew its A-share application and turned to the Hong Kong stock market. In January and July 2025, the company's submissions expired twice; in January 2026, the third submission expired, and half a year later it expired again.
