According to the Ministry of Public Security, recently, the Ministry of Public Security issued a notice deploying special action "Safe Wilderness - 2026" from the end of June to December this year, continuing to severely crack down on crimes that harm birds and other wildlife in accordance with the law, resolutely cutting off the black and gray industrial chain, promoting comprehensive governance, effectively building a strong ecological security barrier, and promoting harmonious coexistence between man and nature. The notice requires giving full play to the function of the public security organs, focusing on key areas and positions, expanding sources of clues, strengthening analysis and judgment, and continuously improving the precision strike capabilities. It requires strong efforts to break through cases, highlight key targets, focus on illegal hunting involving guns and drones, and issues related to "wildlife dining" on the internet, launching a heavy blow against crimes of harming birds and other wildlife. It stresses on the investigation of cases, conducting a full-chain crackdown on hunting, procurement, distribution, etc., and resolutely destroying criminal networks. It aims to collectively crack down on organized and cross-regional cases, achieving "handling one case, deterring one area, and purifying one region". It will work with relevant departments to identify and rectify areas and industries with concentrated risks and prominent problems, and resolutely rectify the black and gray industrial chain.
