Guangdong: All fishing vessels conducting operations in the waters east of Shenzhen are required to return to port to seek shelter from the storm.
The Office of the General Headquarters for Flood Control, Drought Relief and Wind Prevention in Guangdong Province issued a notice on the evening of July 8th, requiring the sea area east of Shenzhen to implement the "Six 100%" typhoon prevention measures before 18:00 on July 9th. All fishing boats operating at sea must return to port to seek shelter, all personnel engaged in fish farming and marine ranching must go ashore for safety, personnel on offshore wind power construction platforms must evacuate, and leisure boats such as fishing boats, diving boats, and township boats are prohibited from going to sea. Coastal scenic areas and cross-sea routes will be closed as needed. The sea areas west of Shenzhen will closely monitor the changes in the typhoon's path and the impact of peripheral winds, strictly implement various measures for maritime safety, and resolutely evacuate in advance if safety cannot be guaranteed. Fishery boats operating in the nearby sea areas of Zhejiang and Fujian are advised to enter port for shelter, and to implement wind prevention measures in accordance with local wind prevention instructions.
