Issued: Action Plan for Promoting the Deep Integration of Industry and Education in High-End Industries in Beijing

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Economic and Information Bureau and the Beijing Municipal Education Commission jointly issued the "Action Plan for Promoting the Deep Integration of Industry and Education in High-End Industries in Beijing". The plan focuses on four actions: implementing "industry-leading education foundation", "training for hundreds of enterprises and thousands of positions", "competitions, training, and exhibitions to foster talent", and "tackling key issues with the same theme", and introduces eight measures. These measures include supporting universities to participate in high-end projects. Supporting enterprises to take the lead in jointly undertakings with universities to actively carry out tasks such as building the industrial foundation of Beijing, participating in the construction of industrial innovation platforms and pilot platforms, and simultaneously promoting technological research and talent development. For those who meet the conditions, their joint investment in tackling key issues in Beijing can be included in the scope of support for high-end funds management methods. Supporting universities to actively participate in the key issues of high-end industries, research universities that participate in the development of high-end industries more may be given additional research student quotas according to the situation.
