On July 2 local time, the Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation confirmed that the country's subway and railway systems have fully resumed operation. Jorge Rodriguez, president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, said on July 1 that the strong earthquake has caused 2,295 deaths and 11,267 injuries. Venezuela has recorded 782 aftershocks, and currently the frequency and magnitude of aftershocks have decreased, but the risk of strong aftershocks still exists, and the public still needs to remain vigilant.
