On the morning of July 2nd, a naval fleet composed of the missile destroyer Nanning and the missile frigate Hengyang arrived in Hong Kong, initiating a series of open house visits and cultural exchanges lasting for 5 days. In the evening of the 2nd, a deck reception was held on the Nanning. Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam, relevant officials from central government agencies in Hong Kong, government officials from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and representatives of patriotic and pro-Hong Kong individuals from all sectors were invited to attend.
