A discussion without a guide. Wash's debut "only talk about principles, not interest rates."
The first meeting of the Sassinter Group chaired by Wash has concluded. The Fed chairman stated that prices are still too high, but the risks of inflation have eased. He also provided some reassurance to investors, saying that changes to the balance sheet will be carefully considered. In addition, investors received almost no comments on the current economic situation or any guidance on interest rates. As the Wash and Sassinter Group discussion concluded, the US Treasury bond market rose, with 2-year bonds leading the way, falling by about 3 basis points to 4.14%.
