According to the latest research on the notebook industry by TrendForce, the Zhitong Finance and Economics APP learned that Apple has comprehensively raised the price of the MacBook, which has changed the market's previous understanding. Even high-end brands must now reflect some costs to the end market, which is expected to further strengthen consumers' expectations of rising prices for notebooks, leading to a more conservative trend in overall replacement demand. Considering that the comprehensive price hikes for the MacBook will be reflected in the end market from the third quarter onwards and consumer demand is slowing down, TrendForce estimates that Apple's notebook shipments will be around 23.1 million units in 2026. Strong sales support from stable pricing strategies and the launch of the MacBook Neo in the first half of the year have performed better than expected. Even if momentum slows down in the second half of the year, the annual shipment growth rate is still expected to maintain double-digit growth.
