The first typhoon of the year has arrived in our country.
According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, this morning, the disturbance in the South China Sea has evolved into a tropical depression, and it is expected that within the next 24 hours, this depression will develop into a typhoon and will land in Hainan and Guangxi provinces on the 3rd and 4th of this month respectively. This will be the first typhoon to land in China this year. Due to its influence, there will be strong winds and rain in the South China Sea and southern China. The rainfall in some areas of Guangxi and Hainan Island may approach historical extreme values, so precautionary measures should be taken in advance.
