After more than two months of market technical and business preparations, the new trading rules for A-shares will officially take effect on July 6, 2026. The new rules optimize the fund closing trading mechanism, expand the types of securities applicable to fixed-price trading after the market closes, and increase the daily limit for ST stocks on the main board to 10%. For investors, there are three main points to pay attention to: first, adjust the habit of fund closing trading, investors can only submit limit orders in the last three minutes, and cannot cancel orders, all orders will be matched through unified closing auction; second, fixed-price trading after the market closes will be based on the closing price and cannot set prices independently, and there will be significant differences in trading activity compared to continuous trading; third, be cautious when participating in the trading of risk warning stocks on the main board.
