Three Gorges Hub's throughput reached 76.642 million tons in the first half of 2026.

On the morning of the 1st, reporters learned from the Yangtze River Navigation Administration of the Ministry of Transport that from January to June this year, the Three Gorges hub handled a total of 76.642 million tons of cargo. Among them, 22.047 million tons of daily necessities and 0.6995 million tons of key emergency supplies were passed through the dam. During the first half of this year, the Three Gorges Ship Lock completed a total of 4,527 lockages, with 17,000 vessels passing through and a total cargo volume of 74.325 million tons. The Three Gorges ship lift completed a total of 2,129 cabin operations, with 2,156 vessels passing through, transporting 328,000 passengers, an increase of 13.6% compared to the same period last year.
