Gallup: Americans will lose $68 billion due to fraud by 2025.

A survey released by Gallup, an American polling company, on June 30th, showed that approximately 10% of American adults themselves or their family members were victims of fraud in the year 2025, resulting in an estimated total loss of around 68 billion US dollars, equivalent to a daily average loss of about 1.86 billion US dollars. Gallup and the nonprofit organization "Anti-Fraud Alliance" conducted a joint survey of 5173 American adults from January to February this year. 6% of respondents said they were victims of fraud in 2025, while another 4% said their family members were victims of fraud. The average amount involved in each fraud case was 5578 US dollars.
