Shenzhen real estate market achieved a new high in June in terms of transaction volume, the highest level in nearly six years.
According to data released by the Shenzhen Zhongyuan Research Center today, in June, 8,878 sets of first-hand and second-hand residential properties were sold in Shenzhen, a decrease of 11.9% compared to the previous month, and an increase of 14.2% year-on-year. The transaction volume of first-hand and second-hand residential properties was the highest in the same period since 2021. Among them, 3,785 sets of first-hand residential properties were signed, a decrease of 16.7% compared to the previous month, and an increase of 15.6% year-on-year; 5,093 sets of second-hand residential properties were transferred, a decrease of 8% compared to the previous month, and an increase of 13.1% year-on-year. Monitoring data shows that the pre-sale of new houses and the transaction volume of second-hand houses in Shenzhen in the same month have both hit record highs in the same period in nearly six years, making June the best-performing month in the property market in nearly six years.
