Private equity held over 1.2 billion shares of ETFs listed this year in the first half of the year.

ETF is becoming a new favorite for private equity institutions. Data from Private Equity Net shows that as of June 30, 2026, a total of 95 private equity institutions' products were included in the top ten holders list of 106 ETFs established in the first half of the year, with a total holding of 1.214 billion shares. 44 ETFs have been actively allocated by private equity institutions, with private equity holdings not less than 10 million shares, including 11 ETFs with private equity holdings not less than 30 million shares. In terms of specific products, private equity institutions have allocated a total of 51.9 million shares to the technology innovation artificial intelligence ETF by Southern Fund, 48.899 million shares to the securities ETF by Guangfa Fund, and 42.968 million shares to the home appliance ETF by Huaxia Fund.
