Announcement and implementation of the National Security Law in Hong Kong marks its sixth anniversary, providing a solid institutional guarantee for good governance and rule of law.
Today marks the 6th anniversary of the implementation of the National Security Law in Hong Kong. A spokesperson for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government stated that the National Security Law, along with other laws and work to safeguard national security in the region, have effectively protected national security in Hong Kong. As described in the White Paper "Practices of Hong Kong Safeguarding National Security under 'One Country, Two Systems'" released by the State Council Information Office in February this year, the National Security Law in Hong Kong is an "anchor" to safeguard the national security and provides solid institutional support for promoting good governance in the region.
