The medical adhesive supplies joint procurement in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has been launched.
The "3+N" alliance of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei recently launched centralized procurement of medical adhesives, which is expected to reduce the burden of surgical expenses on patients. Medical adhesive is a consumable widely used in surgical procedures, mainly for skin wound closure, organ tissue hemostasis, gastric variceal embolization, and other surgical scenarios. Compared to traditional sutures, using medical adhesive is more convenient and can shorten the duration of surgery. Previously, in some regions, the cost of a single medical adhesive could reach hundreds of yuan or even higher. This round of centralized procurement will last for three years, and all public medical institutions in the alliance areas are required to participate.
For this procurement, a maximum declared price has been set for two categories of consumables: surface use and cavity use. The price per milliliter for the two registered products for surface use should not exceed 139 yuan, and for products for cavity use, the price should not exceed 128 yuan per milliliter. The procurement adopts two methods: "price inquiry based on quantity" and "quantity linkage." In the former, companies can independently declare prices within the maximum limit, and the bid will be selected as long as the price does not exceed the limit. In the latter, the procurement price of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei "3+N" alliance will be linked to the winning price of other provinces nationwide, ensuring the implementation of the lowest price nationwide.
