The world's lowest-altitude ultra-deep heavy oil field has exceeded a cumulative production of over ten million tons.
Today, reporters learned from China Petroleum that the Lukqin Oilfield, located at the foot of the Flaming Mountains in Turpan, Xinjiang, has achieved a cumulative oil production of over 10 million tons. Super deep heavy oil refers to extremely difficult-to-recover petroleum resources buried underground at depths of thousands of meters, with viscosities over a hundred times higher than conventional crude oil, and almost no flowability at room temperature, resembling black mud.
