The 15000th Universal Body Robot officially enters mass production.
On June 28th, Interface News learned that UBTech announced the official mass production of its 15,000th general-purpose humanoid robot, the Alpha G2. Yao Maoqing, partner, senior vice president, and president of the humanoid business unit at UBTech, stated that the mass production of the 15,000th robot confirms that UBTech has reached a new height in scale production, marking a significant step forward for the Chinese humanoid robot industry in large-scale real-world applications. Yao Maoqing emphasized that mass production is not the ultimate goal, but rather a process to quickly deploy robots in various industries, gather data through interactions in the real physical world, and use the data feedback loop to make the products increasingly intelligent and stable. On March 30th of this year, UBTech announced the production of its 10,000th general-purpose humanoid robot, the Alpha A3; and on December 8th of last year, UBTech delivered its 5,000th general-purpose humanoid robot through mass production.
