Severe shortages of supplies in the areas heavily affected by the earthquake in Venezuela.
On June 27th, local time, the central reporter arrived at the earthquake-stricken area in the state of Lara, Venezuela by motorcycle. The reporter observed that a large amount of search and rescue is still ongoing in the area, with rescuing survivors remaining the current focus of rescue work. In addition, about 1500 affected people are residing in temporary shelters in the area. Although the local government and volunteers are providing drinking water, food, and basic necessities to the affected population, there is still a significant shortage of supplies.
