On June 27, Guo Minghao, an analyst at Tianfeng International Securities who has been tracking the Apple supply chain for many years, released a report stating that iOS 27 will further deepen the system-level integration with Apple Intelligence. His latest industry survey shows that in order to ensure smooth operation of the system under AI loads, the DRAM specification of the 1H27 new low-end iPhone equipped with A20 processor will be upgraded to 9GB (1.5GB6-die), higher than the 8GB (2GB4-die) of the current A19 model. The three high-end models (foldable phone and two 18Pro models) equipped with the A20Pro processor in 2H26 will maintain 12GB (1.5GBx8-die).
