Cai Zhaohui has been appointed as the full-time director of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, previously serving in Hainan.

According to the Procuratorial Daily, from June 22nd to 24th, Chen Wenqing, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, conducted a research trip in Henan. Cai Chaohui, full-time director of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, Tan Quan, assistant minister of the Ministry of Public Security, and Zhang Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, participated in the research. This also means that Cai Chaohui, who previously served in Hainan, is now the full-time director of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission.
