According to the report, in recent years, China's medical device innovation and development momentum has been strong, yielding fruitful results. As of June 18, 2026, the total number of approved innovative medical devices in the country has reached 431, with 40 new approvals in 2026, setting a new historical high. This fully demonstrates the continuous innovation vitality and technological breakthrough capabilities of China's medical device industry. In 2025, the market size of China's medical device industry reached 1.2049 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.12% year-on-year, maintaining a good trend of steady growth overall. In terms of supply chain logistics system construction, the industry's specialization and refinement development effectiveness are highlighted. Logistics demand in many segmented areas such as imaging, consumables, and equipment continues to be strong, and the market demand structure is continuously optimized. The construction of warehouse infrastructure is steadily expanding. By the end of 2025, the total area of medical device logistics and storage in the country reached 23.8214 million square meters, an increase of 1.02% year-on-year. The continuously optimized warehouse layout provides a solid hardware support for the stable operation of the industry supply chain. Ma Zengrong, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, said that from the perspective of the overall industry structure, regular strict supervision continues to drive the industry to eliminate the weak, improve quality, and upgrade. This has effectively purified the market environment and regulated the development order of the industry. The overall operation of China's medical device industry is steadily improving, with continuous enhancement of innovation drive momentum, accelerated iteration and upgrading of the supply chain logistics system, and the industry as a whole entering a new stage of improving quality and efficiency and high-quality development.
