Xinhua News Agency signed cooperation agreements with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh News Agency, respectively. The two agreements were included in the list of achievements of Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tariq's visit to China. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh is the department responsible for news, broadcasting, publishing, film, and other affairs of the Bangladeshi government. Xinhua News Agency signed a memorandum of understanding on news cooperation with this department to promote practical cooperation in areas such as exchange of news information products and personnel exchanges. The Bangladesh News Agency is a national-level news agency responsible for collecting, disseminating, and promoting domestic and international news in Bangladesh. The memorandum of understanding signed on the mechanism of the "Global South" Media Think Tank High-end Forum aims to promote mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of news communication, support the continuous development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Bangladesh, and play an active role in promoting the development and revitalization of global southern countries.
