The suspects fabricated identities such as "Vice Chairman of the National Fitness Association" and claimed to help students who performed poorly on the college entrance examination to enter top universities as high-level athletes in sports like football and basketball, using low scores. They defrauded 22 parents of students, with a total amount exceeding 9 million yuan. The Ministry of Education reminds that college admissions are strictly based on scores, preferences, and plans, and are conducted openly and transparently. There are no "internal quotas", "special admissions quotas", or "reducing scores for internal admissions" through informal channels.
