According to the Shanghai Customs, in the first five months of this year, Shanghai City achieved a total import and export volume of 2.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 17.9%, with foreign trade running steadily and showing positive signs. In May, the import and export volume in Shanghai was 420.49 billion yuan, an increase of 11.5% year-on-year, maintaining a growth trend for 16 consecutive months. Exports were 200.01 billion yuan, up 26.7%, while imports were 220.48 billion yuan, up 0.6%.
