SK Hynix is considering increasing its investment in its Cheongju NAND flash memory factory.

According to South Korea's "Daily Economic News", SK Hynix is reportedly planning to build a new NAND flash memory factory in Cheongju, South Korea. The overall investment plan for the region is expected to be announced at a meeting in the presidential office on June 29. The core of Hynix's plan is to increase investment in the Cheongju NAND flash memory factory, which was completed in 2018. In addition, Samsung Electronics currently produces advanced chips such as HBM in its packaging facilities in Cheonan and Onyang, South Korea.
