Muscat message: The Oman Maritime Security Center said on social media on the 24th that Oman is cooperating with the International Maritime Organization to establish a temporary shipping lane for vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. The post stated that this action is in accordance with Oman's commitment to comply with international law, ensuring freedom of navigation and unimpeded passage through the Strait of Hormuz. Vessels planning to use this lane must coordinate with the International Maritime Organization.
