Tongda Group Chairman Ma Hongju revealed that the company's overseas order signing volume increased in the first half of the year, but rising prices of copper and aluminum, appreciation of the RMB, a surge in sea freight costs, and geopolitical conflicts have led to project delays, resulting in actual shipment volume being basically flat compared to last year. The company predicts that the exchange rate and customer budget adjustments in the second half of the year will help revive overseas business. Looking ahead to the full year of 2026, Ma Hongju stated that Tongda Group is sprinting towards its revenue target of 10 billion yuan. "On one hand, we will deepen our presence in the domestic market, solidifying long-term partnerships with State Grid, Southern Power Grid, and major power generation groups, focusing on key projects such as ultra-high voltage backbone networks, smart urban-rural distribution networks, and integrated generation, network, load, and storage projects; on the other hand, we will accelerate our global layout, expanding into Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Europe, and other overseas markets based on our product technology advantages, participating in overseas new energy and power grid infrastructure projects, and achieving dual-cycle development in the domestic and international markets."
