India launches anti-dumping investigation into sodium nitrite originating from or imported from China.

On June 23, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that, in response to applications submitted by domestic companies in India, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on sodium nitrite originating from or imported from China. The Indian customs code for the products involved is 28341010. The dumping investigation period for this case is from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, and the injury investigation periods are from 2022 to 2023, from 2023 to 2024, from 2024 to 2025, and from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
