According to Southern Metropolis Daily, on June 23rd, Meng Fanli, Deputy Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Government Party Group, and Governor, chaired a meeting of the Provincial Government Party Group and Executive Meeting. The meeting emphasized the need to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the backbone, vigorously develop high-end manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, and service-oriented manufacturing, based on Guangdong's industrial foundation and innovation advantages. Tailor-made policies and measures of "one industry, one policy" were formulated and implemented to promote the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries, the development and expansion of emerging industries, forward-looking layout and shaping of future industries. It was stressed to strengthen organized innovation guided by industrial demand, enhance the status of enterprises in scientific and technological innovation, accelerate breakthroughs in key core technologies, strengthen original and disruptive scientific and technological innovation, speed up the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into real productive forces, vigorously promote the application of new technologies, new products, new formats, and new models, and rely on innovation to accelerate the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces. It was also emphasized to deeply implement the high-quality development action of the key industrial chain of the manufacturing industry, targeted efforts to fill gaps and weaknesses, comprehensively enhance the resilience and safety level of the industrial chain and supply chain. Around the layout of the industrial chain, more innovative platforms, projects, funds, talents, and other resources are mobilized to promote the stable supply of production factors, control costs, and create a first-class industrial ecosystem.
