After obtaining a US waiver, Iran is actively seeking to win over Asia's largest oil buyers.
With the exemption of a 60-day sanction taking effect in the United States, Iran is making efforts to secure some of Asia's largest oil buyers. This temporary lifeline will allow Tehran to resume exports and begin clearing the backlog of goods at sea. Traders involved in the discussions revealed that sellers, including middlemen and representatives from the National Iranian Oil Company, had already been in contact with refineries in India, Japan, South Korea, and other regions before the permit was officially issued. They stated that this sense of urgency has since further increased.
