Li Qiang meets with Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Belykjanov
On the morning of June 23, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council met with Kazakh Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev who was attending the Summer Davos Forum in Dalian. Li Keqiang stated that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Tokayev, the China-Kazakhstan permanent comprehensive strategic partnership has deepened and yielded fruitful results, serving as a model of good neighborliness and mutual benefit between neighboring countries. In the current international situation, with increasing chaos and uncertainty, China and Kazakhstan, as reliable partners, should enhance communication and cooperation. China is willing to work with Kazakhstan to deepen neighborly friendship, build political mutual trust, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, and jointly create a more meaningful and vibrant China-Kazakhstan community of shared destiny, bringing more benefits to the people of both countries. Li Keqiang pointed out that China is willing to work with Kazakhstan to expand and upgrade bilateral trade, consolidate and deepen energy and mineral cooperation, comprehensively improve connectivity, expand cooperation in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, smart cities, big data, and digital economy, injecting new impetus into the modernization of both countries. China welcomes Kazakhstan's effective use of platforms such as the China International Import Expo and the China-Eurasia Expo to promote its products and encourages more capable Chinese companies to invest in Kazakhstan. China hopes that Kazakhstan will continue to provide a good business environment and policy support. This year is the "Year of China-Kazakhstan Cultural Exchange," and China is willing to deepen cultural, tourism, education, youth exchange cooperation with Kazakhstan to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples. Currently, cooperation between China and Central Asia is thriving, and both sides should strengthen cooperation within the framework of mechanisms such as the China-Central Asia Cooperation and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to jointly promote sustainable development in the region.
