Huatai Securities research report stated that on June 18th local time, the US FERC issued the latest interconnection regulations for large loads such as data centers, requiring six regional grid operators to streamline/reform electricity pricing mechanisms and provide load access solutions in order to achieve speed-to-power, while ensuring fair terminal electricity pricing and reasonable cost allocation. This round of policies marks the entry of US large load interconnection regulation into a unified framework, further strengthening the logic of self-generating electricity for data centers, optimistic about large-scale gas turbines as the main power source, as well as investment opportunities in new power supply solutions such as fuel cells and energy storage.
