Mintai Aviation's highly safe hybrid eVTOL prototype will take its first flight within the year.

According to the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, on June 18th, it was announced by Hubei Mintai Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. that the company's self-developed 4-seat hybrid electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) full-size prototype will achieve its first flight around the time of this year's National Day. The aircraft has a range of 1000 kilometers, which is five times that of similar pure electric models, and is expected to address the "range anxiety" issue of low-altitude travel.
