According to reports, sources in the supply chain pointed out that Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.N) has reduced the monthly output of its main 28-nanometer production base, Fab 15A, from 200,000 chips at the beginning of this year to 150,000 chips, a decrease of over 25% compared to the beginning of the year. Taiwan Semiconductor plans to allocate more 28-nanometer production capacity to support the gradual withdrawal from low-margin orders in the middle layer.
