On Thursday, in the New York session, the US dollar rose over 0.57% against the Japanese yen, reaching 161.81 yen, approaching the July 3, 2024 top of 161.95 yen. At 17:02 Beijing time, the US dollar refreshed its low to 160.48 yen, roughly unchanged before gradually rising afterwards. The euro rose 0.2% against the Japanese yen, to 185.09 yen; while the British pound fell 0.11% against the Japanese yen, to 213.244 yen.
