The Dafu Gorge Water Conservancy Hub Project has passed completion acceptance.

Reporters learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that the Datengxia Water Conservancy Hub project passed the completion acceptance inspection held by the Ministry of Water Resources on the 18th. The construction tasks of the project have been completed, and it has entered the normal operation phase. The total investment of the Datengxia project is 35.736 billion yuan, with a total storage capacity of 3.479 billion cubic meters and a flood control storage capacity of 1.5 billion cubic meters. The normal water level is 61 meters. This project is an important node project of the national water network, integrating flood control, navigation, power generation, water supply for saltwater intrusion prevention, and irrigation. The comprehensive operation of the project will play an important role in improving the level of water security in the basin, serving the national strategy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promoting high-quality economic and social development in the region.
