On June 18, the State Post Bureau held a national TV and telephone conference on the safety production and protection of the legitimate rights and interests of delivery personnel in the postal and express delivery industry, to further mobilize and deploy efforts to strengthen industry safety production and protect the legitimate rights and interests of delivery personnel. Zhao Chongjiu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Bureau, emphasized the need to strengthen the implementation of responsibilities and not to relax efforts to ensure industry safety production. Each enterprise should earnestly fulfill its main responsibility for safety production and unified management responsibility for brand security, conduct thorough inspections and rectification of hidden safety hazards, and ensure safety production. Postal management departments at all levels should further strengthen their regulatory responsibilities, effectively shoulder the political responsibility of "promoting development in one area and ensuring safety in another", implement strict regulatory requirements, and resolutely prevent lax enforcement. Efforts should be made to jointly manage and form a united front, fully leverage the role of local safety committees and joint supervision mechanisms for postal channels, strengthen joint supervision and enforcement, increase media exposure and publicity efforts.
