Gansu Telecom joins hands with FiberHome Communications to launch a pilot project for deploying trunk optical fiber network in Qingyang.

In recent days, Gansu Telecom, in conjunction with Fiberhome Communications, successfully completed a pilot deployment of hollow core fiber mixed optical cable at the "East Calculation, West Calculation" node in Qingyang. This is the first time that hollow core fiber optic cable has been deployed in a national "East Calculation, West Calculation" northwest hub node, demonstrating the outstanding performance of the new generation of fiber optics in the interconnection scene of the intelligent computing center. This pilot project accurately targeted the interconnection scenario between Gansu Telecom's data center and the intelligent computing center, innovatively using a mixed cable structure, with the lines covering complex construction scenarios such as pipelines, direct burial, and overhead installation. Faced with strict engineering challenges, the mechanical properties such as tensile strength and lateral pressure resistance of the hollow core fiber optic cable, as well as its environmental adaptability, have all withstood comprehensive testing. During the implementation process, Fiberhome Communications provided full-process services for optical cable fusion splicing, testing, and termination.
