Hong Kong stocks closed at midday, with the Hang Seng Index down 1.7% and the Hang Seng Technology Index down 1.38%. The Hang Seng Stock Connect ETF Yu Hua fell 1.68%, and the Hong Kong Stock Connect Technology ETF Peng Hua fell 1.04%. In terms of sectors, passenger airlines and building materials were among the biggest decliners. In terms of individual stocks, Tianquan ZhiXin rose 15.67%, Zhipu rose 12.59%, Naxinwei rose 10.25%, Dazu CNC rose 9.01%, and Shenyan Intelligent rose 8.95%. Jiyue Electronic Technology fell 17.55%, Fufeng Group fell 16.76%, Huachen China fell 16.67%, Jiaxin International Resources fell 10.7%, and Hantian Cheng fell 9.04%.
