Starting today, Shandong will implement subsidies for the independent replacement of consumer goods in 2026.

According to "Shandong Release", this morning, the Shandong Provincial People's Government Information Office held a routine policy briefing, inviting responsible comrades from the Provincial Department of Commerce to interpret the "Implementation Plan for Subsidies for Local Autonomous Categories of Used-to-New Consumer Goods in Shandong Province by 2026". In order to further improve the quality and efficiency of the implementation of the policy of trading in old for new consumer goods, meet the diverse consumption needs of the people, the Provincial Department of Commerce and five other departments issued the "Implementation Plan for Subsidies for Local Autonomous Categories of Used-to-New Consumer Goods in Shandong Province by 2026", which will be formally implemented from June 18 and will end on December 31, 2026. A total of 8 categories are included in the province's self-subsidized range, including robotic vacuum cleaners, assistive exoskeleton robots, smart toilets, range hoods, household gas stoves, water purifiers, dishwashers, and hearing aids.
