Senior US officials read out the 14 terms of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the war and promoting the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to the media. 1. The United States and Iran, along with their allies in the current war, announce through the signing of this memorandum of understanding the immediate and permanent cessation of all military actions on all fronts, including military actions in Lebanon, and commit to no longer launch any wars or military actions against each other from this day forward, avoiding the use of force against each other or the threat of the use of force, and ensuring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon. The final agreement will confirm the permanent cessation of war on all fronts (including in Lebanon) and confirm the other provisions of this paragraph.
