On June 16th at noon, the official WeChat account of "Shenzhen Education" announced that Shenzhen has issued red, orange, and yellow rainstorm warnings for different areas, as well as lightning and geological disaster meteorological risk warnings. In accordance with the Government's Order No. 334 and the "Shenzhen Typhoon and Rainstorm High-level Early Warning Time-based School Defense Guidelines," the city has implemented district-level warnings, resulting in all schools being closed city-wide. In the afternoon of June 16th, all primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, and training institutions in the city will be closed. Students who are already at home should stay at home, while parents should make appropriate arrangements to ensure safety. For students who are at school, classes will not be conducted, and schools should provide supervision and management while parents orderly pick up their children to go home after ensuring safety. In cases where it is not possible to pick up students due to special circumstances, schools are not allowed to force or indirectly require parents to pick up their children, and boarding schools should operate in accordance with the updated guidelines from 2025.
