On June 16, Zhaopin released the "Research and Analysis on the Employment Prospects of College Students in 2026 and Strategies for Choosing Majors for the College Entrance Examination". Artificial intelligence and data engineers are leading the high-growth professions with a growth rate of around 30%, with most practitioners coming from majors such as computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, and big data. High-paying majors are mainly in engineering, with 43 out of the top 50 high-paying majors being engineering majors. Hard technology majors such as electronic science and technology and intelligent science and technology have leading salaries. In addition, 47 out of the top 50 high-paying universities are part of the "Double First-Class" construction universities. The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, and Peking University rank among the top three in graduate salaries, and industry-specific colleges perform equally well compared to some comprehensive universities in the "985 Project".
