Boeing stated that in the B-52 bomber crash accident at Edwards Air Force Base in California, 8 crew members were killed. Two Boeing employees were on board. Boeing said they have been in contact with the families and are providing support. Prior to this, the Pentagon stated that a US Air Force B-52 "Strato fortress" bomber crashed shortly after taking off from Edwards Air Force Base in California on Monday. The statement said that the aircraft was conducting a "routine test mission" at the time of the accident, with the crash occurring at 11:20 Pacific Time.
